BBN 7: Biggie Set to Merge Housemates As Kess, Pharmsavi Are Evicted

The Big Brother Naija season 7 held its third live eviction show on Sunday evening and two housemates were evicted.

Kess and Pharmsavi became the latest housemates to leave the show.

The show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, made the announcement during the live show, which also featured an electrifying performance from Iyanya.

During the eviction live show, Ebuka also announced that Big Brother will merge the Level 1 and Level 2 housemates.

Earlier in the week, Eloswag from Level 1 became the Head of House and he was given the power to nominate housemates from Level 1 for possible eviction.

Following the nomination, Groovy, Amaka, Daniella, Modella, Chizzy, Pharmsavi, and Kess.

However, Chizzy and Modella are not real housemates and were not meant to be evicted leaving the rest five to battle for viewer’s votes.

Following the votes from the viewers, Kess and Pharmsavi were ushered out of Big Brother house after coming bottom on the list.

Christy O and Cyph from the Level 2 house became the first evictees for the season during the live show two weeks ago.

Before the show, Big Brother had disqualified ex-Miss Nigeria, Beauty Tukura, after she received double strikes for breaking the house rules.

Last week, Khalid and Ilebaye also took a bow from the show following their eviction.

With Kess and Pharmsavi’s latest eviction, only 17 real housemates are on the show.

While Deji and Modella are fake housemates, Rachel and Chizzy are Riders.

Glo Rewards Partners at Luxurious Event in Lagos

Globacom, Nigeria’s telecommunications and digital solutions services provider, on Thursday treated its business partners across the country to a luxurious ceremony in Lagos. The event was held at the Eko Hotel and Suites, Victoria Island.

At the event, Globacom honoured its top-performing partners that fulfilled all regional and national deliverable requirements with millions of naira in recognition of their outstanding work.

A total number of 71 partners were rewarded in two broad categories, with the winners receiving millions of naira in cash prizes. Category 1 comprised 22 Activation Award winners and 33 Divisional Recharge winners.

In Category 2, 16 partners were rewarded for outstanding performance at the national level. They included partners who performed excellently in Sponsored Data and Activation and those who won national awards in the Recharge category.

The event was held to “honour not just individual successes, but the collaborative spirit that drives innovation and growth”, according to a statement from Globacom. It added that each of the partners “continues to play crucial roles in Globacom’s mission to empower people and businesses, pushing the boundaries of what is possible in telecommunications”.

Globacom shared with them its current and future projections to grow the company and maintain a win-win partnership with the business partners and promised to constantly take their interest and that of other stakeholders into account in all of its plans and projections.

“We are excited about the future, of our continued partnership in serving our customers, fulfilling their needs and helping them achieve their ambitions. We count on you all to be by our side all the way”, the company reiterated to the business partners.

Globacom, which recently clocked 21st, noted that it has grown from being a telecommunications service provider to becoming a Digital and Technology Company, leading the drive into Nigeria’s digital future. It promised to continue to explore unlimited opportunities to serve the customers by investing heavily in the latest tools and technologies.

The company recently unveiled My-G which gives subscribers more data value and more freedom to explore their passions. It has also reinvigorated the Glo Cafe app to give subscribers total control and access to entertainment, gaming, data solutions and other VAS services on their mobile devices. Glo also enhanced the Berekete tariff plan to give unparalleled juicy benefits to subscribers, ensuring that every new business innovation, product and service bring Glo customers one step closer to their goals.

However, the partners had a terrific time being entertained, so the event wasn’t just about business presentations and prizes. Lilian Yeri Danceworld, an all-female dance company with a lot of versatile dance movements, was available to entertain the guests.

Celebrated musician, Flavour, also brightened up the evening with great music, adding color to bring the celebration to a close. Several guests joined him on the dance floor to enjoy his songs and flow along with his captivating performance.

VDM Lashes Out at Reno Omokri for Visiting Tinubu, Says He’s Shameless, Lacks Integrity

Social media activist and influencer, Martin Vincent Otse, popularly known as VeryDarkMan, has hit out at former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan after he posted a picture of his visit to President Bola Tinubu on October 1, which was Nigeria’s Independence Day.

Omokri had posted the picture on social media with the caption “Spending Independence Day with President Tinubu at the Presidential Villa. May God bless Nigeria,” which led to a barrage of comments from many Nigerians who labelled him a sellout and bootlicker.

Also lending his voice to the condemnation, VDM in an Instagram video, criticized Omokri for visiting Tinubu whom he had in the past, insulted and called several derogatory names.

To back up his criticism, VeryDarkMan played an old video of Omokri leading a protest against Tinubu during his visit to the Chatham House in the UK during the 2023 presidential campaign.

In the Instagram video, VeryDarkMan, said:

“Reno Omokri, what are you doing with someone you once called a drug lord? Do you want to learn how to sell drugs? I’m just curious, o; it’s none of my business!

“You have no integrity, I know the people that you begged that you want to meet Tinubu. I know & spoke with them, is that why U where attacking Obi. You can clearly see that you lack integrity.

“By the way, I won’t pretend I didn’t know that you begged a lot of people to help you meet Tinubu. I saw many people you pleaded with to arrange a meeting. In 2023, you were campaigning for Atiku. I know politics is a dirty game, but at least have some integrity.”

NCAC Hosts 17th International Arts and Crafts Expo in Abuja

The National Council for Arts and Culture (NCAC), led by the Director General, Mr. Obi Asika, has announced its readiness to host the 2024 International Arts and Crafts (INAC) Expo, in Abuja. The highly anticipated event will showcase Nigeria’s cultural diversity and artistic prowess, while promoting national unity and driving economic growth.
